Zinwave Acquires New Premises in San Jose, California

Silicon Valley presence allows Zinwave to capitalise on a buoyant in-building DAS market in the Americas

Zinwave Ltd, global providers of distributed antenna system (DAS) technology for in-building wireless coverage, has opened new offices in San Jose, the heart of Silicon Valley and home to many of the world’s largest technology companies. The office will be used as a sales, operations and logistics base for Zinwave customers in North America.

A presence in California’s technology hub will allow Zinwave to further grow its rapidly expanding installation base and strengthen its position as a market leader of next‐generation RF coverage solutions using advanced photonics and wideband amplifier technology.

Zinwave has also appointed a new Office Manager, Kat Paule, to oversee all operational, procurement, customer service and support activities in the US and Canada. Kat has over 8 years’ experience in the mobile telecoms market and has worked for LGC Wireless, ADC and TE Connectivity. Before joining Zinwave she was responsible for managing projects for neutral host providers, carriers and distributors in the US and Canada.

Zinwave’s wideband DAS is the only system capable of supporting multiple cellular and public safety services between 150MHz-2700MHz on a single hardware layer, regardless of protocol or modulation scheme. It is also the only system to support multiple FDD and TDD LTE services simultaneously across any spectrum allocated globally.

Zinwave’s wideband DAS (Zinwave 3000) offers building owners, telecom operators and neutral host providers an “install-once” solution. It eliminates the need for expensive and disruptive upgrades to existing infrastructures to accommodate new services as they become available.
